During a tranquil afternoon on the lake, one man happened upon something in the water he wasn’t expecting: A young bald eagle!
The young eagle looked exhausted, so the fisherman helped him into his boat, and once he realized the bird was sick, he called a local sanctuary that takes care of sick or abandoned birds of prey. Now, with medicine and constant care, the eagle has a fighting chance of survival.
This is such an amazing video because it shows that animals might understand us and our intentions better than we realize – the way the sick bird swam toward the fisherman and his net, it’s almost like he knew the fisherman was his one chance at a better life.
