A diver was in the Caribbean sea near the Cayman Islands when he faced an unimaginable scenario: a shark. Not only that, but a shark ATTACK. Thanks to Jaws and the media’s fascination with shark attacks a few years ago, it’s a pretty common fear even though it’s very unlikely to happen. Unfortunately for this man, it happened. The video is at the bottom of this article.

Jason added, “I want to make it clear that I am hunting lion fish to help protect the reef from the destruction that they cause. The shark was acting in his natural environment. I have no ill will toward him and will get back in the water and continue to protect the reef for future generations. I would strongly encourage anyone out there to donate toREEF.org or other organizations to help protect our reefs.”
While being attacked by a shark is probably not going to happen, seeing that video ensures I’ll be staying out of the water for a while.
