Heck, the closest I’ve ever come to seeing something like this is watching the video of a horse dancing to Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Achy Breaky Heart” or the horse dancing in an ad for nail polish.
I have never seen a human and a horse do anything like this together in perfect unison. Seeing how calm the horse is makes me wonder if he even really knows what’s going on.
Is he just trained to run around in a circle? Either way I was on the edge of my seat through the entire clip!
The sport is called “equestrian vaulting,” and it has its roots in ancient Roman games, where competitors would show off their skills while riding on a horse.
However, I’m guessing that today, it is approached a little bit differently.
