Lena was rescued off a chain and suffered with demodectic mange, which results in patches of ragged hair loss and red, scaly and infected skin. We don’t know how long Lena was left on the chain or by whom, but after she was rescued she was taken to a wonderful shelter and rehabilitation begun. This video shows Lena’s amazing recovery during the first few weeks she spent healing. By the end, I was thrilled with what I saw – amazing footage of Lena playing outside on the grass, looking like a completely different dog. You’ve really got to see it to believe the wonderful transformation that took place as soon as Lena was in good, kind hands.
