Since when they first came on the scene in 1935, Budweiser’s team of Clydesdale horses have become synonymous with the brewer. And that has been an extremely successful marketing tactic for the beer company. But at the time, the large and gorgeous horses were a gift to celebrate the end of prohibition which was good news for the brewer.

When Budweiser paraded the horses around town toting the carriage, they realized that the public absolutely loved them. And who wouldn’t? They are beautiful and magnificent creatures. Struck by how popular the horses were, Budweiser decided to make them an integral part of their brand.

Today, the Budweiser Clydesdales are just as important to the Budweiser brand and everyone can identify with them – whether your drink Budweiser beer or not.

But in the commercial below, you’ll be privy to a long-kept secret that few Americans know. Discover what it is today…

Every time the brewer releases their classy commercials featuring the proud and strong Clydesdale horses, we get a taste of the authentic America. It’s hard not to feel pride in a country that has done so much good for the world and provided freedom for so many millions of people and countries across the globe.

But the ad included below has a special message…

It was released as a symbol of hope for the American people following the terrorist attacks on 9/11 gives me chills every time I see it.

The commercial aired only ONCE and that was during the 2002 Superbowl. Since the commercial reached Americans only one time, Budweiser didn’t really profit from the commerical. But they did offer America a bit of hope among all the terror that Osama bin Laden had struck us with.

After it’s run at the Superbowl, where it was highly praised and well-received, this Budweiser Clydesdale ad did not resurface again for six years until it was eventually uploaded to YouTube.

Because of the internet, you can watch and enjoy this groundbreaking commercial and enjoy what it truly means to be a patriotic American.

Check it out below!
