Colin Farrell Admits He’s Drawn to Margot Robbie’s Personality
Colin Farrell revealed that he was attracted to Margot Robbie’s personality, sharing that he didn’t really know her until they began working together on their new film, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.
Speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Farrell said, “You hear things through the years, ’cause as you know yourself, it’s a fairly small industry,” reflecting on the nature of Hollywood gossip and how impressions form before actors truly meet.

Farrell shared, “So I met people through the years who worked with Margot … and they all, men and women, said how extraordinary she was.”
Beyond being an “incredible actress,” the Penguin star heard through the Hollywood grapevine that Robbie was “kind,” “fun,” and “one of the team.”
“She is,” he confirmed, adding with a laugh, “Which is always a turn-on for me … straight up!
Farrell explained, “So I met people through the years who worked with Margot … and they all, men and women, said how extraordinary she was.”
A blushing Robbie responded with a playful, “Stop,” joking that she owed him “20 bucks later” for making such a sweet comment on television.
The 49-year-old actor continued to gush about Robbie, saying her magnetic personality was “really apparent” the moment they met.
“It was just really easy,” he added, reflecting on their on-set chemistry.

For her part, the Barbie actress revealed that she had also heard glowing things about Farrell before they connected on their project.
“Everyone talks about what a great guy he is — obviously, I know he’s talented and all that,” Robbie said. She added that two of her closest friends had worked as crew members on one of Farrell’s films.
“They, too, were like, ‘He’s just the most divine human being on the planet,’” she recalled.

The Barbie star is married to Tom Ackerley, and the couple share a son. Robbie is set to celebrate her 10th wedding anniversary with Ackerley in December, having welcomed their first child, a baby boy, last year.
Farrell, meanwhile, has never been married. He is the father of two sons: James, 22, with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave, and Henry, 15, with ex-girlfriend Alicja Bachleda-Curuś.
Their new film, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, hits theaters this Friday.
