Taylor Swift revealed her mom, Andrea Swift’s, delightfully innocent reaction to her new track “Wood” — the cheeky, raunchy “Life of a Showgirl” song inspired by Travis Kelce’s “manhood.”

“Mom thinks the song is all about superstitions, which, technically, it is,” the Grammy winner joked on Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s Morning Mash Up.

“That’s the fun of a double entendre,” Swift added. “You can explain the song to someone, and it just completely goes over their head.”

“She thinks the song is about superstitions, which it absolutely is,” Taylor Swift said on Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s Morning Mash Up, when asked about her cheeky track from Life of a Showgirl.

“You see in that song what you want to see,” the hitmaker added.

The 35-year-old Lover singer ushered in a bold new era with the release of the risqué track on her 12th studio album last Friday.

The song opens with a nod to her past relationships: “Daisy’s bare naked / I was distraught / He loves me not / He loves me not.”

“That’s the joy of the double entendre,” she quipped.

“You can read that song for people, and it just goes right over their heads,” Swift added.

She continues with playful, superstition-themed lyrics: “Penny’s unlucky / I took him back and then / Stepped on a crack / And the black cat laughed,” before admitting, “And, baby, I’ll admit / I’ve been a little superstitious.”

Swift then references her meeting with Travis Kelce, 36, singing, “Fingers crossed until you put your hand on mine / Seems to be that you and me, we make our own luck / A bad sign is all good, I ain’t gotta knock on wood.”

Elsewhere in the track, she hints at more risqué themes with mentions of “a hard rock” and “magic wand,” cheekily nodding to the Kansas City Chiefs star’s podcast.

In “Wood,” Swift reflects on her past relationships as well as her romance with Travis Kelce, singing, “New heights of manhood / I ain’t gotta knock on wood.”

She also hints at her relationship with Kelce in other tracks on the album, including “Honey,” “Fate of Ophelia,” and “Wi$h Li$t.”

The A-list couple began dating in the summer of 2023 and became engaged in August.

The athlete and the Cruel Summer singer announced their engagement on Instagram with sweet photos of the proposal, captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Insiders told Page Six that Swift and Kelce plan to tie the knot next summer in Rhode Island, where the pop star owns a multimillion-dollar home.

On Monday, Swift addressed rumors that she would pause her music career after marriage, calling the theories “offensive” during an appearance on BBC Radio 2.
