It’s no secret that many military members don’t get the credit or appreciation they so deserve. Sometimes, it takes an awesome video like the one below to get civilians’ attention. Luckily for the rest of us, this is a real treat.
Soldiers have to keep their minds busy while on deployment and members of the 571st Air Force Band, 131st Bomb Wing of the Air National Guard decided to combine their talents and put them to very good use. Led by U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Angie Johnson, the military band Sidewinder, proves that their talents are not just in the air, but on the microphone, guitar and keyboard, too!
This group is seriously talented and it’s so nice to see these hardworking, selfless soldiers get some positive love from around the world! Many YouTube commenters say that their cover of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” is way better than the original… and it’s hard to argue! After this video went viral in 2011, Sgt. Johnson appeared on NBC’s The Voice and found some of her own fame as a solo artist, but there’s nothing like seeing these amazing men and women perform in uniform.
