Luckily, as hard as it is to quit, the benefits start kicking almost immediately and we just found a way to reverse some of the damage done, even after years of smoking have taken their toll. This miracle drink only has a few ingredients, but it will help cleanse your lungs like nobody’s business and have you feeling better than you have in years.

We all know how bad smoking can be. The years of denial and tacit public acceptance have crumbled beneath the weight of scientific evidence, and the tide has turned for a once socially acceptable habit. Now smoking is not seen as a habit of the sophisticated erudite person, so much as an addiction. Today, the habit can even lead to social marginalization.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), more than 16 million people live with some health problem as a result of smoking in the United States. For every one person who dies from a smoking related disease, more than 30 more live with compromised health from the habit.

But for those who are successful at quitting, the health risks diminish quickly. Lung strength returns, expanded vocal range, ability to taste foods, and blood pressure returns to normal within weeks or months. And the risk of developing cancer and other life threatening illnesses drops precipitously.

However, former smokers are still left with a lot of junk coating their lungs, which means that you are not totally out of the woods, even when you quit for good.

Luckily we found a recipe for a drink that will cleanse you lungs and have you living better than ever!

To make the drink you will need 2 tablespoons of turmeric, about a thumb sized piece of ginger root, 1 medium onion, 1 3/4 cups sugar, and one liter of water. To prepare the drink, pour the water into a pot and add the sugar, then heat it to boiling. Meanwhile slice the onion into quarters, and chop the ginger root. Add them to the water and continue to boil. Add the turmeric and then lower the heat. Continue to heat until it has reduced by half. Transfer to a container and let cool. Store it in the fridge. Take 2 tablespoons in the morning on an empty stomach, and then take two more tablespoons before bed every night before bed. Within days you should be feeling much better.

The ingredients are all well known homeopathic remedies in their own right. Turmeric, high in omega 3 fatty acids, is a known anticancer and antiviral agent, and is rich in vitamins and minerals. Onions are also known for their anticancer properties, and will boost your immune system significantly. Ginger has been used for centuries as a way to remove mucus from the lungs.
