“Biker gang” is not a term that usually brings to mind words like “safety” “care” or “kids”, but all of that is changing thanks to these leather-clad superheroes! Bikers Against Child Abuse is a non-profit organization with the mission of creating a safer environment for abused children.
BACA works with law enforcement and community organizations to protect children of abuse and even gives them a vest with a BACA patch to let everyone know the child is a part of the organization. I know one thing: if I was a kid and I had a 6’10″ person named “Tree” in my corner, I’d feel a whole lot safer, too! I love organizations like this, because they completely disprove stereotypes and help teach us never to judge a book by its cover!
