Céline Dion has recently faced a string of tragedies. First came the death of her beloved husband, René Angélil, followed days later by her brother, Daniel. That’s why the following video is a beautiful and bittersweet experience.
In 2010, Céline Dion allowed camera crews inside her mansion in Jupiter Island, FL. Céline, then 42 years old, treated viewers to a stunning day-in-the-life — a heartwarming and lavish peek into her world as a superstar, wife, and newly mother of three. 12 weeks prior, she and René had given birth to twin boys, Eddy and Nelson. The couple, who had been together since 1987, also have a ten-year-old son, Rene-Charles.
The video is full of adorable moments as Céline walks around wearing pajamas and a ponytail, cuddles with her kids in bed and gives kisses to René. But you also see the family living the glamorous life, attending paparazzi-clad events and flying in private jets. Perhaps the most intimate moment comes when Céline and René allow cameras inside the church as Eddy and Nelson are baptized.
It’s clear there was so much love and warmth in this family. Watching Céline and René raise their babies together is enough to bring tears to your eyes.
