Elephants Run To Greet A New Rescued Baby Elephant At Refuge

Watch as an entire herd rushes to greetings a new rescued baby elephant, named ‘Dok Geaw’ at an Elephant Nature Park.

The tiny elephant Dok, is only one year old and tragically was orphaned. As you can imagine, this has been a traumatic time but he could never have guessed he’d be greeted quite like this.

When he arrives at the nature rescue park in Thailand, he doesn’t realise that he’s about to be given the most amazing welcome by the whole herd of elephants already living at the refuge.

In the video, you can hear the one-year-old elephant’s cry from across the compound, and then watch as they all come running to greet him!

When they finally get to the enclosure they push their trunks through the openings to give him some friendly pats.

The excitement is clear and it gave me all kinds of goosebumps. See for yourself and do let us know what you think in the comments section below.
