Andrea Bocelli is known around the world for his incredible opera singing – but he also dabbles in a variety of other genres! Despite his wide interests, he normally keeps things outside of opera to himself. That’s why this performance of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling In Love” came as such a shock for his audience.

With a little help from his live musicians, the permanently blind Andrea walked up to the microphone and gave the song his all! His audience was left with their mouths open while he sang and erupted into cheers as soon as it came to a close. It comes as no surprise that all styles of music have always come easily to Andrea. He said, “I’ve always known that I was born to sing, ever since I was a child.” Since he was born with a serious visual disability, music was something that he came to rely on.

After officially entering into the music industry in 1992, Andrea’s released 15 solo albums, nine operas and sold over 80 million copies of his work worldwide. Listen to Andrea’s rendition of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” for yourself by pressing “play” on the video below. This is version of the hit tune that’s unlike anything we’ve ever heard.
