A formerly homeless man’s fortunes changed dramatically when he purchased a lottery ticket during a break on a challenging workday—and walked away with $1,000,000.
Jonathan G., a cell phone representative from Alamosa, Colorado, shared his excitement in an Instagram post from the Colorado Lottery.
“My reaction was total disbelief,” Jonathan said, reflecting on his life-changing win.
Earlier that day, Jonathan had been struggling to make sales at work. On a whim, he stepped out and bought a lottery ticket—and it turned out to be a lucky decision.
“I was having a tough sales day, and it actually paid off,” he added.
