Mmm… Can you smell that? It’s the smell of BBQ season officially upon us!

It’s time to head out of the kitchen and into the backyard, because nothing says summer to me like a cooler filled with cold drinks and a hot grill filled with all of our favorite foods. Not only are grilled meals usually healthier than those fried up in the kitchen, but they are usually a lot easier to prepare, too.

Just in time for summer, we’re finding out all of the best tips and tricks to help you make your grilling experience as easy and delicious as possible. Whether your a fan of a perfectly cooked hot dog or crave a juicy steak on the grill, this next hack is going to be one you’ll want to use every time you turn on your burners.

I don’t know about you, but I’m not a huge fan of cooking sprays on the grill. I find it leaves my meats and veggies with a weird aftertaste and I don’t like contaminating my fresh food with harsh chemicals. In the following video from YouTuber JohnsonInc999, we learn a clever and all-natural way to create a non-stick surface on the grates of the grill, using a potato of all things. The trick is to rub the grates down with the potato once the grill is warm, right before you start grilling. According to the YouTube comments, it sounds like this is one hack that really works…and everyone should know!
