There was a dog who would sit in the window and stare at the neighbor’s cat. This happened every day for nearly half a year until the neighbors put plants in the window blocking the dog’s view. They had no idea, but the dog had become heartbroken because of this. So the owner of the dog wrote this note and taped it to the cat’s window.
The love story like no other was originally posted to Reddit by user Garret_N, and it took the internet by storm.
The note read: “Dear Neighbor — This is going to seem ridiculous, but I thought you should know that my dog (who lives next door @ ___ with me) is madly in love with your cat… and has been for probably 6 months! Three X a day, he puts his paws on our railing to look @ him/her in your window sill. Now that you have potted plants there, he is heartbroken… but keeps looking for your cat every time. Maybe your plants could switch to a different window??! From, Your neighbor & her adoring dog!”
And as you can see, they got a response back. “For true love” was posted in the cat’s window for the dog and his family to see. How cute is that?
