Its easy to be impressed by the utter dedication that these amazing Marines have put into perfecting their silent drill technique. Known as the absolute “best of the best of the best,” these Marines are hand picked in order to be a shining example of what it truly means to be a member of the United States Marine Corps.
The famous 24-man rifle platoon performs these precise drills all in order to show off the discipline and professionalism of America’s best and brightest. Even just to become a member of this elite platoon is an incredibly hard task. All candidates must be more or less uniform in their appearance and even their height! They must all be males and must be between 5’11 and 6’1.
Once they’ve been selected to be a member of this elite silent drill squad known as “The Marching Twenty-Four,” these amazing Marines travel all over the country and even the world to show off how great our nation’s military truly is.
The perfect performance in the video below shows them at their very best. With not a single flaw or false move these Marine’s are truly the shining light of the world. Make sure to watch out for the 2:00 mark when they freeze in place like loyal statues, and the 5:40 mark when the whole football stadium starts to chant. If you love America it will send chills running up and down your spine.
This is the kind of halftime show that I know I would want to watch, and the lucky Houston Texans fans really got an incredible treat when they saw this amazing silent drill squad!
