Astreet dog was curled up in a ball on the side of the road. He was suffering from severe mange and had completely given up hope. His body had been ravaged by mange and no matter how much he tried to scratch and run away from the pain it only got worse.
When the heroes at Animal Aid Unlimited parked their ambulance nearby, he didn’t even lift his head. And when they finally transferred him to their rescue center, it was clear the dog hadn’t been touched in a very long time — he’d shudder and squint when anyone would hold out their hand to pet him. But as the days passed, so did the pain and suffering.
After 10 days of treatment, the dog’s mangled skin had healed. Two months later, you won’t believe the incredible changes that take place, both physically and emotionally — he’s hardly recognizable as the same broken dog we meet in the beginning of the video.
