Nothing is more surprising than when someone completely defies our expectations. Like when the odds are stacked against them and yet they try their best nonetheless. It’s inspiring to say the least.
That’s why we’re happy to share this video of Emma Haslam. She’s a pole dancer but not like any you’ve ever seen before. Because she’s a big girl, she’s out to prove that a pole dancing can be for any body in any size!

When Haslam took the stage on the talent show, she immediately needed to field that harsh criticism from the skeptical Simon Cowell. He HATED her skimpy outfit because she is a big girl.
Although the judges are not sure she’s got what it takes to move on to the next round in Britain’s Got Talent, they encourage her to get started on her routine.
At the 40-second mark, Emma leans against the pole and waits for the music to start. Simon looks on with rapt interest.
During her performance, Emma hangs upside down from the pole much to the audience’s admiration. The crowd erupts in applause and the judges are impressed by her ability to dance despite her big size.
