Lady Sees What She Thinks Is Bitten Dog – On Discovering The Truth, Vet Calls Cops

It’s heartbreaking but true – so many humans shouldn’t have the right to go anywhere near pets.

Recently, Hayden Howard discovered that Jackson, her Mastiff, wasn’t quite himself.

In fact, he looked as though he’d been entirely covered with bug bites.

Jackson was running around in the garden while Hayden was indoors. On calling her dog, she thought he had been bitten all over by bugs.

However, on examining him more closely, Hayden discovered the reality. And it was way worse than she’d imagined.

Her English Mastiff was totally peppered with holes—from bullets.

”I was completely shocked, I didn’t know what to think,” she said to WXIN.

On discovering someone had shot Jackson, Hayden rushed him right away to his vet. On inspecting the dog, Jackson’s vet discovered a huge number of minuscule BB bullets which came from someone’s gun.

“There was one stuck under his eyelid, one in his ear, one in his knee, they were everywhere,” a shocked Hayden revealed.

In fact, the sheer number of bullets meant Jackson’s vet needed to remove close to all of the dog’s coat. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to extract the pellets. The vet found twenty-seven BBs all up, twenty of which couldn’t be removed.

Even worse, he discovered another twenty BB injuries in the dog’s tiny body.

Someone had fired more than seventy shots at Jackson.

“I have never seen an animal shot that many times. It’s a very bad case and it’s sad to see,” reported Craig Hayes, Police Department Assistant Chief.

For me, this is incomprehensible. I can’t get how or why anybody might be so heinous to an innocent pet, especially one which hasn’t done a thing to deserve it.

Reportedly, the bullets had been fired from someone’s yard close by, and cops wasted no time in trying to find the suspect.

Soon after, they discovered a BB gun and bullets stashed away in the neighbor’s house.

On top of this, the Daily Mail revealed, cops discovered meth and drug-related equipment in the man’s house.

Personally, I’m seriously hoping the man who did this faces justice. He needs to make amends for what he’s done.

I honestly feel when he is released from prison, he should be kept far away from all animals.

In spite of this horrible ordeal, Jackson’s making steps towards recovery, his owner shares.

Here’s what the news has to say about what happened:

While pellet, air, and BB guns tend to get labeled by the media as “harmless” or “toys”, they really can lead to horrible damage.

If someone carries out a crime using one of these guns, it ought to be seen for exactly that.

My hope is for Jackson to come back to his healthy self as soon as possible, and be able to romp around in his garden once more.
