Joel and Kaleb from the YouTube channel The Grey Boxwood combine the best of both worlds for peanut butter lovers in the cookie recipe featured in the video below. Why have a regular peanut butter cookie when you can have a gooey peanut butter cup cookie instead?

With just 10 simple ingredients, you can crank out these delectable and charming looking cookies in a matter of about 30 minutes, depending on how quickly you move through the prep work. As listed in the video description, the ingredients you need are:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 cup flour
Miniature peanut butter cups
The first part of the recipe is essentially just whipping up standard peanut butter cookie dough, so if you have any kind of food allergies, this is where you could make substitutions to fit your needs. For example, if you have a gluten allergy, you could easily substitute a gluten-free recipe, like this one from the Food Network, to create the dough. If you have a peanut allergy and are feeling ambitious, you could work with almond butter instead of peanut butter in the dough, but you would have to make your own almond butter cups from scratch.
Whatever your preferred take on this recipe, the gooey perfection of the melted cup in the center is definitely worth giving a try, as evidenced by the slew of positive comments on the YouTube video.
