The box was effective at closing 40 seconds after the device detected movement. The Vengeance team’s expectation to see the explosion unfold didn’t last. They mistakenly thought the car would be out of sight in 40 seconds.
But suddenly the car stopped and they were able to see her. The man who suggested he had taken something of value but now covered in two-day-old filth was startled. The box wasn’t just designed to explode: the human excrement inside would explode with it.
As soon as the crew saw that their machines were working, they fell into a small fit of laughter. There was no mention of reporting the thief to the police, just old, smelly revenge.
