If there’s one thing we love here at LittleThings, it’s horses. Throw a mini horse into the mix and our hearts are stolen. That’s why the clip you’re about to see is one of my new favorites of all time.
Pippin is a miniature stallion horse who loves nothing more than going out for hikes and bike rides with his family, and pulling his cart along the mountains of Northern California. He lives a happy and healthy lifestyle, and is wonderfully trained. In the following video, Pippin meets a herd of horses while out and about, and, well… it’s love at first side on both sides of the fence.
This sweet and gentle interaction is truly something to behold. Standing at just 31″ tall and weighing less than 200 pounds, Pippin is so tiny compared to his majestic counterparts — but what he lacks in stature he makes up for with his huge heart. My absolute favorite part is when the rest of the herd, watching curiously from the back of the pasture, gallops up to the fence to see what all the fuss is about, and they too fall deeply in love with their new friend.
Needless to say, by the end of this clip, I was squealing with glee.
