Nothing I Bought Would Clean My Dirty Old Baking Sheet. Then I Stumbled Upon THIS $.20 Trick…

Having old stained baking pots and pans can make any beautiful kitchen look grimy and ugly, so it is important to make sure you only have clean kitchen tools.

Many people, when their pots and pans get grimy, just decide to toss them and buy a new one, however there is a much simpler solution that will save you big money.

Whether you have a pan made of stainless steel, aluminium, or glass, these three tricks will rid you of your dirty pan problem in no time.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is a high quality material, though it also gets rusty and attracts stains like any other surface.

To clean your stainless steel pan you will need:

  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Baking Soda
  • An abrasive scrubbie

Start out by sprinkling a generous layer of baking soda, and cover it with hydrogen peroxide, and then sprinkle more baking soda on top.

Let the mixture sit and do its magic for 1-2 hours, then come back and scrub the dirty right off!

If this trick does not work for you, try this end all to stainless steel stains. Grab some:

  • Pumice cleaner
  • Abrasive pad
  • Oven cleaner
  • Plastic wrap

Start out by sprinkling the pumice cleaner onto the pan, then scrub as much rust away with your pad as possible.  Now cover the left over rust with over cleaner, cover it in plastic wrap, and let the pan sit overnight.

When morning rolls around, place the pan in the oven at 150 degrees F. for 20 minutes.

After letting the pan cool, soak it in hot soapy water for 30 minutes, and then wipe away any left over rust.

Aluminium is a great metal because it is cheap and light, however it is very susceptible to stains as well.

If your aluminium is looking shabby, try out this cleaning trick.  Grab some:

  • Water
  • Distilled white vinegar
  • A pot
  • Scrubbie pad

Start out by filling the pot with equal parts water to vinegar.  Then Bring the mixture to a boil, and let it cool again.  Now saturate the pad in the mixture and scrub the pan clean!

Top it off by soaking the pan in hot soapy water and letting it dry.

Glass is  real tricky one due to its very smooth surface.  Any stains that get stuck on glass are a real pain to get off, and nobody wants a pan that looks like its covered in mold!

Turns out you only need these few ingredients to get your pan squeaky clean:

  • Baking soda
  • Dish soap
  • A regular sponge

Fill the bottom of your pan with baking soda, then with dish soap.  Now fill it the rest of the way with hot water, and let it sit for 15 minutes. Empty out the water, and scrub the grime away!
