When it comes to life hacks, I’m constantly kicking myself and wondering “Why didn’t think of that?!”

Easy fixes like this tutorial for making your own cleaning wipes can save us a lot of money, but at the end of the day, it’s not a shockingly original idea. This next cleaning trick, on the other hand, is so random that I could have never, ever thought of this on my own.

Whenever I hear WD-40, I think of using it on my bicycle chain or skateboard wheels as a kid. The first one makes some sense to me: Use WD-40 on stainless steel to prevent fingerprints. This happens all the time in my house, so I will definitely be trying this out. However, the other three took me by complete surprise.
