Stray Cat Finds Father And Son On Camping Trip, She Spends The Day With Them Before Revealing Huge Secret A dad and his son set off on an impromptu camping expedition but returned with four new feline friends.
Michael and his son love the outdoor and are what you might call camping enthusiasts. They have one spot that they often visit. Just this last week when they decided to return they found a very unexpected guest there.
“When we arrived there was a cat. It was quite skinny and obviously abandoned,” Michael said via imgur.
As Michael set about erecting the tent his son spotted the kitty and they quickly became friendly. He petted her and scratched her belly while the beautiful tabby rubbed up against him then followed him around as if they were old pals.
“My son gets to work trying to catch some blue gill to feed the cat since we only brought enough food for dinner and breakfast,” Michael added.
The stray cat seemed to love all the attention and after this point, she clung to them like glue and refused to leave his side. “I am struggling to not trip over (her) while I gather wood.”
After they shared some of their meal with the cat, she then quietly vanished into the night. That was the last they saw of her for the evening so they retired to bed.
“A couple hours later I wake up to some noise and go outside to check. Now instead of two eyes staring at me, I see eight glowing eyes reflecting the light from my phone,” Michael said.
She was back with but this time she had brought a surprise of her own with her, three beautiful kittens!
“She brought the kittens back to the campsite while I was sleeping.”
Michael was quite shocked by the new additions and knew that he wasn’t going to leave them alone in the woods. They decided that they would start to look after them from this point onwards.
“The next morning we caught over 13 blue gill and a couple catfish. Let’s just say by the end of the day the momma cat was stuffed.”
“There is no way this cat was not domesticated the way she craves human attention.”
The Mummy and her three beautiful babies are now safe and well, the kittens are booked in to go to the vet this week and they will have them spayed/neutered when they are ready.
“It’s been a week now and they love it here. My family has decided we are keeping all of them,” Michael said.
The sweet mummy was so lucky, she managed to find a family that had hearts of gold and could look after her and her beautiful kittens, their life is looking rather rosy from here on out.
