In August 2024, Tom Brady was seen holding “Fluffy” while walking “Junie.” Brady and his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen — who divorced in 2022 after 13 years of marriage — had adopted Lua during their marriage.
The Brazilian supermodel, 45, announced Lua’s passing in December 2023 on Instagram, sharing heartfelt photos of their beloved dog with the former couple’s children, Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12.
Tom Brady shared a heartfelt tribute to his and Gisele Bündchen’s late dog, Lua, following her passing in 2023.
Brady, who also has an 18-year-old son, Jack, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, expressed gratitude for the chance to welcome Lua’s clone into his family.
“[Colossal Biosciences] gave my family a second chance with a clone of our beloved dog,” Brady said, adding that he’s “excited about how Colossal and Viagen’s technology can help families mourning their pets while also aiding efforts to preserve endangered species.”

Tom Brady also paid tribute to their beloved pet, sharing a photo of their children with Lua and writing, “We love you Lua, RIP.”
On Tuesday, it was announced that Dallas-based Colossal Biosciences — the company Brady has invested in — acquired Viagen Pets and Equine, the global leader in animal cloning. Viagen is known for cloning Barbra Streisand’s dog, Samantha, who died in 2017, and Paris Hilton’s dog, Diamond Baby, into two puppies after the pet went missing in 2022, according to People.
Bündchen, meanwhile, welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, in February.
