Top Secret Drum Corps is a precision drum corps based in Basel, Switzerland. With 25 drummers and colorguard members, the corps became famous for its demanding six-minute routine performed at the Edinburgh Tattoo in 2003. With its invitation to Edinburgh, Top Secret became one of the first non-military, non-British Commonwealth acts to perform on the Esplanade at Edinburgh Castle.

Under the leadership of Erik Julliard, the band is known for its fresh and innovative routines. In the video below, the Corps plays at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2012 with a routine designed around the idea of the digital age.

When they’re not working their day jobs, which range from bankers to civil servants, the drummers dedicate themselves to hours and hours of practice. This is the kind of routine where one slight misstep — one drop of a stick, one accidental touch of the snare — could throw off the entire performance. But stunningly, the musicians don’t miss a single beat. They’re amazing to watch live!

Oh, and make sure to watch until the very end for a big surprise that leaves the crowd erupting in cheer. Please SHARE this awe-inspiring performance with your friends on Facebook!
