There’s nothing like the miraculous birth of twins. Yaleni Santos Tohalino delivered one boy and one girl, Lorraine and Brandon, at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. The little ones were happy and healthy, but everyone was stunned by the infants’ unexpected birth order.

On December 31, 2013, at 11:58 p.m., Lorraine was born weighing 6 pounds, 4.9 ounces. Then a mere three minutes later, Brandon was delivered on January 1, 2014, at 12:01 a.m., weighing 5 pounds, 10.4 ounces. That means the brother and sister were born in two different years, and they would have the birth certificates to prove it. This sounds very highly unlikely, and yet right around the same time right over in Texas, Veronica delivered twins Hannah Grace and Danielle Lyn, at 11:59 p.m. and midnight!

“I feel wonderful, full of joy and happiness and a full sense of realization,” the father Warren Begazo, told ABC News’ Greta Kreuz. “This is her first children ever, and they’re beautiful, and she’s really happy… We really did celebrate New Year’s Eve.”

The dad is already figuring out he is going to celebrate their future birthdays. “One cake I will blow out before midnight, and one cake after midnight, so I don’t have to do two parties!” Warren said.

Please SHARE if you think these twins will be talking about this for the rest of their lives!
