If you want to get a roll on this recipe, go pick up the following ingredients:
- 2.5 lb Boneless beef chuck roast
- 1 Sliced yellow onion
- 5 Whole, peeled carrots
- 1 Packet of gravy mix
- 1 Packet of ranch dressing
- 1 Packet of Italian dressing mix
- Salt and pepper.
Start out by spraying the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray. Then spread out one sliced yellow onion on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Go grab your meat now. Pat a two and half bound boneless beef roast dry with a paper towel, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle a quarter of a cup of flour on some wax paper, and then roll the beef around in the flour to create a flour coating on all sides. Pound the flour into the meat with a small plate. Place into the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, throw in the gravy mix, then the ranch dressing mix, then the salad dressing mix. Use half a cup of water and mix it all together. Whisk until smooth.
Pour mixture around the roast. Add in five whole carrots, and add in any other vegetables like mushrooms, potatoes, or mushrooms! Cook for eight hours or until the gravy is thick.
