In a world where it seems that just about everyone wants their 15 seconds of fame, sometimes talent alone just doesn’t cut it.
Sure, being really, really, ridiculously good at something helps, but if I’ve learned anything from watching countless talent shows from around the globe, it’s thatyou have to make yourself stand out from the crowd.
In the following video, we see two artists who knew they didn’t want to just “get by” struggling by themselves. On their own, they are Dominik Wagner and Benedikt Zeitner, two twenty-something professionally trained musicians, but together, they definitely have what it takes.
Known as “Ass-Dur,” they are the leading musical comedy duo in Germany, which they say on their website is “easy, because there is only one. ” The self-proclaimed “musicklowns” put on more than just a concert. They add comedy, magic, and that special something extra to their performances, which, as you can see in the following video, definitely pays off.
In this clip from their German TV program back in 2009, Ass-Dur performs a completely unexpected skit on the piano. Instead of just showcasing their amazing musical talents, they show off a bit by completely changing clothes, while never missing a key.
