After watching this short clip, I think I just found my next vacation destination! Once you do, too, you’ll definitely want to pay a visit to this magical, tropical paradise!

Welcome to Big Major Cay, Bahamas. Along with lush greenery and clear blue waters, you’ll find that the island’s residents are very welcoming. Why? Because they’re all pigs!

That’s right! The island is uninhabited by humans, and is only home to about 20 or so happy pigs. The beach is called “Pig Beach,” and it can be visited by humans who often bring the island’s residents some yummy treats. And though the animals are feral, they’re incredibly friendly.

There are many theories as to how the pigs arrived at their home, as they are not native to the island. One theory suggests that a group of sailors dropped them off there with the intention of coming back, though they never did. Since then, the pigs have happily survived, enjoying the best life has to offer them: plentiful food, warm sunshine, nice sandy beaches, and endless swimming!

These pigs are definitely living the sweet life.

If you’re planning your next vacation, and want to visit the sweet residents of Pig Beach, please SHARE!
