Something you never get too old for is a good challenge.
I myself am near the retirement age. One of the things I enjoy the most is sitting with my grandson, who is almost 10, to solve puzzles and quizzes.
It can be anything from solving optical illusions to figuring out riddles. The most fun is to solve challenges that make you work together.
It’s a great activity to do with friends and family – and it also allows one to exercise their neurons for a while. You rarely get that anymore in a world where computers do everything for you.
Earlier today I found two challenges I think are quite fun. It’s about being able to focus your senses and let the eyes work together with the brain.
Sounds simple, but be careful not to be overconfident!
Find the 3/4 symbol!
Neither challenge should be too easy. It’s important to have an eye for details if you are to solve them – and most friends whom I have tested with these puzzles have failed.
It should warn you, to solve them, they only were given 5 seconds on the first and 10 seconds on the second, but both tests can be solved with ease if you have more time, so the time limit is a vital part of the challenge.
In the first picture, look for the “3/4” character, which means 75% of something. It’s hiding among all the “1/4” characters!
Can you find it in less than 5 seconds?
Did you find the “3/4” symbol?
I think it was more difficult than expected, so if you found the solution, you’ve done great! Good job!
Otherwise, we will now reveal where the sign is!
In the picture below we have marked the “3/4” in red!
How many Q’s do you see?
Okay, let’s move on to the next challenge!
In the first one, there was a single symbol that you had to look for, but in the next puzzle, things will get a bit more difficult.
Here you should figure out how many Q’s are hiding in a picture filled with O’s. Pretty similar letters, but now you have 10 seconds to find them.
How many Q’s can you find in the picture?
Remember how many Q’s you found in the picture!
I found 6 pieces on my first try, but I missed a few.
If you flip that number, you will have the answer!
Yes, now you can probably guess what it is – but in the picture below, all Q’s are marked in white.
Yes, there are 9 Q’s in the picture!
