Mosquitoes are a huge problem around the entire world because they can carry bad viruses and infections that can cause death.

Putting on bug spray can certainly help, but nothing will do the trick like this monster DIY mosquito trap powered by a fan.  Store bought traps work as well, but this one can outperform many if not all of them at a fraction of the cost.

To make your mosquito trap, you will first need to grab a large fan that can move a lot of air.  In the demonstration video, a large circular fan purchased from Home Depot is used.

The fan might seem a bit expensive at first, however they last for years, so the investment is well worth it!

One you have purchased your fan, go find a find mesh screen, and some high powered magnets.  If you don’t have any magnets, a quick Google search for “rare earth magnets” will get you exactly what you need.

Drape the screen over the fan, and secure it to the edges with the magnets. After leaving the fan on overnight, you will come back to a horde of mosquitoes stuck to your screen on your fan.

Now comes the brutal part: killing them.  Grab some 70% rubbing alcohol, and dilute it 50/50 with tap water, and place it into a spray bottle.  Simply spray the bugs down, and you won’t ever be bothered again!

If you keep up this work, the mosquitoes around your house will stop reproducing, and won’t bother you any more.
