Nerissa Hawkinson came up with a hilarious joke. She wanted to convince her daughters, Raquel and Nicole, that the turkey she bought for dinner was pregnant.
The mom placed a Cornish hen inside of the turkey — a delicious addition for any meat eater but a huge shock for any unsuspecting observer. Unfortunately, Nicole spotted the Cornish hen in the fridge earlier, so she was completely in on the covert operation.
Raquel begins removing the stuffing, as Nicole snickers behind her knowing exactly what’s going to happen. Mom holds the camera, she tells Raquel to keep digging. She wants to be sure to get all of the stuffing out of there.
That’s when she finds it. The “baby.”
“Why is there a turkey inside of a turkey? Oh my god, what is this? Mom this isn’t funny, I’m crying. Mom there’s a baby turkey in the turkey. It’s a girl,” Raquel squeals.
Mom reveals it’s a ruse, but Raquel is experiencing a cross between tears of shock and tears of laughter. Nicole, however, has a giggle fit at her sister that has her crawling on the floor.
When Nerissa shared the video of her daughter it went hugely viral, stacking up over 13 million views. Clearly, Raquel is a good sport and thought it was funny if she let her mom share the hilarious moment with the world.
